Grace Smith of the Midland Church of the Brethren reports that they are organizing a “Grandma’s Silence,” a half-hour of prayer for ceasefire. All the grandmothers who live in the community will be invited to observe a time of silence for prayer and ceasefire. They are also running a “Fortress of Peace” Bible School, and will be using some of the material from the Kids as Peacemakers childrens’ mural project (more info here).
