We’ve had poorer attendance in the past few years so we’re trying something new. First of all, we’re moving a day later, to Saturday. Second, we’re including a free lunch! Our event begins 11:30 AM on September 22. Thanks to the John Baker fund, we are having a peace sermon call out, and the sermon selected will be shared at the service. Though I will be organizing it, representing the Everett Church of the Brethren, the event is co-sponsored by the Everett Ministerium and the board of the Everett Free Library, and will take place at the Peace Pole outside the library. We hope that a Saturday event featuring lunch will bring out more folks.
