Our city (Salisbury, Maryland, USA) is celebrating peace this September for the fourth year in a row.

A variety of organizations are taking part with music, voter registration, literature, … What kindness could our Community of Joy (Church of the Brethren) church share that is not bad for the environment and reflects our love of God and each other? We will offer (non-medical) foot care such as washing, rubbing, lotion, clean socks, etc.

I got this idea in a dream and was surprised when church members liked it. And the city committee “oohed” and “ahhed.” If you have any suggestions on how to do this, I’d love to hear from you.
