On Tuesday, September 18th, Lutherans and friends in Portland, Oregon, will gather at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub to participate in an interactive Webinar with Ched Myers and Elaine Enns entitled, “What is Restorative Justice in the Case of Historical Violation?” 

Having observed Canadian Truth and Reconciliation hearings in Halifax and Saskatoon, Elaine and Ched will reflect on the challenges of Truth and Reconciliation Commission work.  

We will gather at 5:00 for good food, good beer and good conversation, join the webinar at 5:45, and then follow-up with more conversation and prayers for peace.

The webinar is available to anyone at chedmyers.org.  I encourage others to gather folks from your own communities to mark Peace Day, 2012, by participating in the webinar and joining in conversation and prayer in a brew pub, fellowship hall, or living room - wherever works best for you - learning from the peace movement’s own biblical theologians and practitioners of restorative justice, Ched Myers and Elaine Enns. -Solveig Nilsen-Goodin
